Volkswagen has officially revealed the interior of its much-anticipated ID. Era 9X, marking its entry into the extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) segment in China. This flagship SUV, set to launch in March 2026, showcases a luxurious six-seat configuration designed for modern families. With a length of 5207 mm and a wheelbase of 3070 mm, the ID. Era 9X is not only the largest model from SAIC-Volkswagen but also surpasses the dimensions of the BMW X7.

The interior is characterized by a sleek design that emphasizes a harmonious blend of technology and comfort. It features dual 15.6-inch central control screens for both driver and passenger, along with a sizeable 21.4-inch foldable rear ceiling screen. Adding to the ambiance, a 12.8-meter-long ambient lighting system enhances the overall aesthetic, making it a standout in the premium SUV market.

Performance Specs and Powertrain

Under the hood, the ID. Era 9X boasts an innovative powertrain designed to meet the demands of urban and intercity travel.
