Volkswagen has lifted the curtain on significant updates to the 2026 Caddy, a versatile player in the van and MPV markets. Unveiled on March 31, 2026, the revamped Caddy boasts a fresh look along with promising tech enhancements, although some details remain under wraps.

The exterior features an aggressive redesign with new front and rear bumpers, which can be finished in either painted or unpainted styles. Additionally, the Caddy will introduce new color options, including a striking deep red, and a choice of alloy wheel sizes ranging from 16 to 18 inches.

Under the Hood: Engine and Performance Upgrades

One of the most anticipated changes is the introduction of a plug-in hybrid variant. This new powertrain is expected to mirror the Golf Mk8.5’s setup, featuring a 201bhp 1.5-liter engine. With the capability to travel up to 76 miles on electric power alone, the Caddy PHEV aims to cater to eco-conscious consumers.
